Impromptu video competition: mention ‘Active’ and win a slab of Red Bull

Just finished talking with George, the lovely host of the Caffeine and Aspirin Show on Radio Active 89FM. I remembered that we had a left-over slab of Red Bull from the launch this week, so on-air we announced a wee video competition for the weekend.
To be in the running to win the slab of Red Bull (24 cans! see the pic below) all you have to do is create or mash a video that at some point mentions the word ‘Active’; upload it to Mash Pit Comedy before 12noon Monday (14/09/09); and when you upload it, tag it with the word ‘Active’.
George, Caffeine and Aspirin host on Active, will judge the winning video on Monday. Her tip for the winner: make her laugh. Easy!
Half Joke Booth at tonight’s launch party

To help celebrate the launch of Mash Pit Comedy there’s a bit of a party being held in Wellington tonight at The “Mash” Pit Bar at BATS Theatre (yes, we’ve renamed the bar for One Night Only!). 1 Kent Terrace, Wellington, kicks off at 6pm. Pop along if you’re down this way.
We’ve rigged up a Half Joke Booth at the party, so you can record half jokes, half gags, half dances, half funny faces … anything that’s half-way funny … and we’ll upload them to the Half Joke Booth profile page on the site. We’re recording the madness against a green-screen so anyone can mash the clips up and place the people anywhere in a new video. Mashtastic.
